Creating Mail Accounts

To create a new Mail Account, select 'Mail Accounts...' from the Tools menu and click the Add button.

Fill in the entries in the various sections:

·	Basic Account Settings

Fill in the name you'd like to give to this mail account.

·	User Preferences

Select the Identity you'd like to assume when using this mail account

·	Server Settings

Fill in the Internet address of the SMTP mail server you use, together with your e-mail user name and password. If you don't know these, contact your ISP for details.

·	Diallup & Connection

Specify the diallup connection you wish to use, and any additional parameters. XanaNews supports TLS SSL encryption. If your ISPs mail server requires it, enter the details here.

·	Derived Settings

Mail account Derived Settings override the Default Settings that have been set globally in Tools/Options.
